Notes for Chapter 8

 

    There are many reagents which can add to multiple bonds so it might seem like a lot to memorize, but if you examine the reagents closely to determine whether they are strong or weak Lewis acids, you can gain insight into how the reaction will proceed.

    You are now familiar with a number of concepts and now you should be able to see how all of these can occur in a single system.  They all have an effect on the outcome of reactions.
