Biography:

Chris grew up as a military brat, that means his father was in the navy and he grew up living all over the world. He considers Maryland home and earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park. During his time at Maryland he had the opportunity to intern at IBM, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and participated in summer research programs at the University of Maryland College Park and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Seeking a different pace in life, Chris decided to begin his Masters degree in Computer Science at NJIT in the fall of 2006 after working at the University of Maryland Institute for Advance Computer Studies. During his first year, Chris served as the alternative representative for the Computer Science department. After that he became president (something he didn't see coming). Now with a new responsibility on his shoulders as the new GSA president along with being a research assistant for SmartCampus, Chris is driven and motivated to make graduate life at NJIT just a little bit better. With his eboard behind him and the support of the graduate student body, he hopes to achieve this goal (while keeping his sanity).
