"A Declaration of Interdependence" was composed by David Cope, Allen Ginsberg, Miguel Grinberg, Ed Sanders, Gary Snyder, Anne Waldman, Peter Warshall, and I on July 5, 1990.  It was edited by Cope and I the next day.  Others' signatures were added at a press conference the day after that.  Originally published in the Boulder (CO) Sunday Camera on July 8, 1990, this statement subsequently appears in texture #9 (Summer 1990), Poetry Flash (October 1990), and in the collection DISEMBODIED POETICS: Annals from the Jack Kerouac School, ed. Schelling and Waldman, 1994.
