President Sues Federal Government
Vice President Atiku Abubakar yesterday took the case against his
indictment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the
Federal Government Administrative Panel of Inquiry to court, asking that
it be quashed because it had no basis in law. The vice president's suit
was filed on a day the Senate, after a heated debate, decided to refer
the reports sent to it by President Olusegun Obasanjo last week to its
Judiciary Committee for advice....
