is used by the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) to compute precise GPS satellite
orbits and monitor earth crustal movement.

Objective of my part: Design and develop the GIS
which is the foundation for the land use model used for transportation
planning.

Objective: Research map accuracy requirements and
GPS accuracy requirements to enable automatic bus location. Accurate bus
location is essential for fleet management as well as for providing accurate
service information to passengers.

Jersey DOT manual for surveying. All surveying activities at DOT must be

Objective of my part: Develop an on-line pipeline
accident reporting form. The form is based on MS Access Visual Basic
application that monitors, checks and filters accident report input data. Once
the data is accepted it is then merged into OPS pipeline accident database and
used for accident analysis.

Objective of my part: Develop a computer vision
based analysis of electric meters. The system has a robotic conveying system
and an analysis station. My responsibility was to develop the reading and
analyzing the electric meter at the analysis station. A patent was awarded
on this part of the system

The Region II Transportation Research Consortium "Using Video
Photogrammetry for Analyzing Weaving Behavior under Non-Freeway
Conditions", $11,115, 9/1991 - 6/1992.
Objective of my part: Develop traffic volume and
vehicle weaving measuring system based on stereo video images and
photogrammetric techniques. Photogrammetry allows position determination of
cars in 3-D as a function of time. This information can be used to compute
traffic volumes and driving patterns.
