GEOSPC is a program created by a student, H. George Pierson, PLS, as his senior project in April, 1999.  Using Microsoft Visual Basic Version 6.0, the program was written for converting state plane coordinates (meters) for the North American Datum 1983 to geographic coordinates (for reference ellipsoid GRS80) in longitude latitude format. The program also computes the inverse of this (latitude and longitude to state plane coordinates. This program is limited to the continental United States The equations and methodology used in these computations were from NOAA Manual NOS NGS 5, State Plane Coordinate System of 1983.   You must have WinZip running on your computer in order to set this program up.

Before downloading the program file, read the download and installation instructions.  There is a special procedure that must be followed.
