
The surveying engineering technology program was first implemented as a 2+2 program. Earning the SET degree under the 2+2 format meant that NJIT offered only junior and senior level surveying courses. Typically, students completed the first two years of the curriculum at a County or Community College and then transferred to NJIT to complete the four year degree.
In the Fall of 2004, NJIT began to offer the entire four year SET curriculum at NJIT. The following is the new SET curriculum:
