Welcome to the New Jersey Institute of Technology Land Surveying Program website. The purpose of this website is to provide information about the surveying profession at NJIT.  As New Jersey's only university offering a bachelor's degree in surveying, we hope to become a leading source of information for anyone involved in or interested in the profession.  Whether you are employed in the surveying field, a current or prospective student, or any other interested party, we hope to provide something of interest to you.

This website is constantly expanding and changing, therefore, please bear with us on pages that do not function fully or are still under construction. Our goal is to provide valuable resources for nearly every aspect of surveying. Please feel free to contact the webmaster with problems or suggestions about improvements or additions to the website. For the convenience of return visitors, the "What's New" page will reflect all changes made to the website and the dates they took place.

  2. Graduates will be able to take on supervisory roles in their surveying firms. Some graduates will start their own surveying practice.
  3. Graduates will be able to apply and expand upon their undergraduate level surveying preparation. This will be accomplished through continuing education and becoming involved in regional and national professional societies such as New Jersey Society of Land Surveyors (NJSPLS) and American Congress of Surveying and Mapping (ACSM).
